I probably should have warned that this storyline was going to get a bit violent. Sorry kiddies.

For those who appreciate the Sword and Sorcery aesthetic: I’ve been playing through the Experimental Playground games with my student, and I can’t get over how concise and perfect they are.
I particularly enjoyed Giant Battle, a 2-player strategy battle game featuring some Orcs and Dwarves.
Ninja Vs. Robot is also a pretty cool solitaire hack-and-slash, but it’s a bit too easy.
Given how awesome the thematic choices are in their smaller games, I’d really like to take Savage Flower Kingdom RPG for a testdrive. I mean, just the name, it beggs to be played, yeah?
I have ta say I am surprised to see this level of violence in your comic though.
I’ve done a couple card game jobs that had some goofy-yet-brutal scenes in them, It was kind of freeing, and I could look at the drawings I made and feel the crunch of the action, moreso than anything I’ve ever done before. I wanted to try something like that in comic form.
It probably speaks to my psyche that this is the most comfortable thing I’ve drawn in a long time.
