I put up a new game over at Metal Snail Idea Workshop. It’s a light Print-and-Play bluffing card game made by myself and my little siblings. You can download the PDFs over there.

If you’re reading this on Twitter or Facebook, that means there’s two new ways to find out when Cats in the Kitchen updates!
From now on you’ll be able to find out when the next comic is up at either @CookingWithCats on Twitter, or The Cats in the Kitchen Fan Page on Facebook.
I think I’m going to be quoting Cave Johnson for a while. Seriously, my dying words are going to be “When Life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade, you make Life take those lemons back! Demand to see Life’s manager!”
Portal 2 is officially the second game I’ve played for nine hours in a stretch, (the first being Sid Myers Alpha Centuri) I kept meaning to go to bed, “Right after I figure out this puzzle”, but the next puzzle, or teasing bit of story was so compelling that I ended up finishing it in one sitting. I love how the new elements just open up the puzzle possibilities. I love how the new characters flesh out the enrichment center. The final boss battle (Puzzle? Boss Puzzle doesn’t sound right) is so epic that I refuse to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t played the game yet. Rest assured that it is awesome. Also rest assured that there will be a cutscene with a talking potato.
Hey, I just saw the other day that Graphic.ly was advertising in my Google ad bar, and I just wanted to point out that it’s actually an awesome service. It’s basically like Steam or iTunes for Comics, but takes up less system resources, and allows you to move comic files between devices. It’s still pretty new, but the library is growing fast, and there’s lots of free stuff in it.
My only complaint is that the comic files are in a format that can only be read by the Graphic.ly reader. I would have preferred .pdf or .cbr files. But the reader is available for nearly every platform, so it’s not such a big deal.
If you can’t figure out where to start, I’d suggest Carpe Chaos or Legends of the Guard.
