I remember as a kid, I didn’t really have any concept of what graphs were for, but I’d make them all the time in Excel, just about anything. I liked experimenting, seeing how different projections would show the same data.
I sometimes worry that my characters are all too nerdy for their archetypes. I try to balance it out by having them be different kinds of nerds, Weed is the Heavy Metal Listening, Vintage Videogame Playing Nerd, Alan is the Hipster Culture and Technical Compitancy Nerd, and Midnight is the Old-Book-Reading, OCD, Math Wizard Nerd. Something like that. Even EJ could turn out to be a bit of a nerd, but it hasn’t shown up much…
My brain’s been kinda fuzzy this week, I had a hard time concentrating on this strip. Works done soon though, and then I’m going to get a good buffer done so I can take my time on stuff and do it right. At least that’s the plan. Maybe I’ll be making more Starfighters Unlimited comics. That might happen too… Yeesh. I’m all tired and rambly now. Goodnight 🙂
